jag pratar lite svenska också! jag kommer inte ifrån sverige, jag bara studerar svenska och kanske jag kommer flytta där snart (nästa år eller senare). fast jag började studera det för 2 år sedan (vid oktober 2022) så jag tror det är svårt ändå :gråta: prata med mig om du vill och jag kan bli bättre~

my favourite music // mina favoritlåtar

• BLÅ VÄGEN - swedish indie with kinda punk vibes (instagram - spotify)
  • dumpad på umeå busstation - a bonus track on the cd version of the genom fönstret ep: by far my favourite song of theirs, it definitely deserves its own release
  • när alla andra går - i went to the albumrelease for 'just nu är allt lite för bra' with my partner the first time i met him in person and this is the first track on that album so always brings back memories of that evening with him <3
• dalmatin - swedish indie (instagram - spotify)
  • såna som oss kommer alltid förlora - when i listened to this track for the first time i fell in love. i love the sound so much. i could (and often feel like i do) listen to it on loop.
  • har dig kvar - this was the first song i found of theirs and it wasn't my favourite until i heard it live. feeling the energy in that crowd was incredible and now i always turn it up when this song comes on to remind me of that night
• good kid - toronto indie pop (website)
  • tell me you know - this song was one of the few they played when i heard them for the first time as a support act for another band. i particularly remember the lights they had to accompany it.

• pikekyss - norweigian indie (website)
  • bare gi mig en vår - this song was the first track on blå vägens blandband on spotify and i fell in love with it instantly. unfortunately it is norwegian rather than swedish but through listening to norwegian indie (which is excellent btw) i have discovered how similar the two langauges are!
  • til det føles fint - this whole album is amazing, some of my favourite sounds in any indie music i've heard. i particularly like 'sonn jeg vil ha det', 'tillbake til oslo' och 'hater deg'.

my favourite games // mina favoritspel

• magic: the gathering - i've been playing on and off for almost 10 years now and no matter how long i spend away i always seem to come back. i like artifacts :3
• pokémon trading card game - ive only been playing this game for a year or so but i like playing it as a break from magic. the cards are gorgeous and the gameplay is super fun.
• mario kart 8 - i started playing on the wii u when it came out and i've been playing it since
• nintendo ds games
  • mainline pokémon games - i have been playing mainline pokémon games as long as i can remember. they are nostalgic and super fun. the graphics on the gen 5 games are amazing for their time, i wish they had made them look like octopath traveller rather than pivoting to the chibi style 3D.
  • tamagotchi connection: corner shop - this is a game from my childhood, i dont know where i got it but its a set of fun little mini games. you play as a shop owner who owns several different types of shop (dentist, florists, spa, etc). each shop has a little mini game that doesnt take very long but its super fun. i particularly love the dentist.
