The thing I really like about this site is that it is hard to tell whether it is earnest or just being silly
I think it is just being silly but honestly, the indie-web minimalism about it is charming and appealing
Inspiring is an understatement
Lots of cool articles on this website. I especially love that this version of the website is solar powered.
femby linux user, makes cool music and cool youtube videos (linux asmr is just perfection)
this project looks like exactly the kind of thing i want to build, idk why i'm saving it here instead of my personal bookmarks doc
cubesville's zine about hummus is what made me vegan
these are probably all going to be hosted locally which is kinda annoying but neocities doesn't allow hotlinking
olivia's trains sells hornby. the shop logo is an 800x600 image with comic sans in it. the design of the site is not concerned with what you think does or does not traditionally look good. its so unapolagetically retro and understated in way that feels extremely comfortable. there's nothing particularly special about it, and i know a lot of british model railway shops have websites like this but i just particularly like this one. especially the web address, i will never not love websites like 'oliviastrains.com'. who owns it? olivia. what do they sell? trains. excellent.
